In July and August of 2006 a
multipurpose building was constructed adjacent to our house in
the village of Diitabiki. This building will make a difference
in how we can effectively reach the Aukan people and care for
the existing believers. It will provide a place to sleep for
volunteer groups, traveling local believers, and some of the
believers who are helping to run the radio station. It will
also serve as a training center and meeting house for local
evangelism teams.
The building was constructed in two phases by
two different volunteer teams. The first team was from Acts
Church in Olive Branch, Mississippi. The second team was from
Longville Baptist Church in Longville, Louisiana.
